I have chosen this video to analyse as the music video is very different from any other normal one. This video is about terrorism and vandalism and how to stop it. The video is showing people wrecking the world and young children becoming affected by it.
I like the close up shots of the children's faces as it helps the audience to relate to them and the song itself makes people think what is happening to the love in the world. The conventions in this music video are known because the song is talking about people's lives and how they live and the music video represents this because it is showing how horrible the lives they live are and the singers are trying to get people to stop. The miming on the music video is spot on and a lot of emotion is shown on the artists face's, this is also to come across to the audience how important the message is that they are trying to get across.
The video also shows that institutions like the BBC changed people and the media changes people for the worse and this video helps makes people think about this.
