Hype Williams:
Harold "Hype" Williams is an American music video and film director. He was born in Queens, New York and started displaying his work by tagging local billboards, storefronts and playground using HYPE as his graffiti tag.
Williams has directed music videos for stars like Beyoncé, Christina Aguilera, Nicki Minaj and Jay-Z. Hype is known for his particular style of using a fisheye lens which distorted the camera view around the central focus. Another one of his "signature styles" involves placing shots in regular widescreen ration, while a second shot is split and placed under in the upper and lower bars.
